Stair Design for Jiro Ono. In [1] I incorporated the delicacy of his dishes in the creation of a light, intricate looking staircase. On the second design I was more concentrated on the layered details of his designs. The sketchup model for the second design is shown [3], illustrating the intended use of colour and materials in achieving a stair specified for the client. [4] shows the stairs with the addition of hand rails.
